Imperfections, stark
the sun grows tall

brides of June
on chiseled lawns

merlot spilled
on terrace views
and seascapes roam
behind the roses bloom

praise upon
the triumph
of the purple ones

though some fall down
in triple rhyme

the yellow leaf
now leaves her host

and now is when
this starts to loosen.

Good morning MicheleROSE ~

"brides of June

and seascapes roam
behind the roses bloom"

~ Aw, yes! I can see it! I am there! ~ but alas, it is a shame that the Merlot was spilled!

Your penning is blooming lovely!

You speak the language of flowers so beautifully, dear Michele!

It's always Now and when petals fall it's Now too ... like when we shall close our eyes.

Exquisite imagery.

Love,
Margherita
