I believed every blessed word, I did! ~ Nut! ~ I mean, NOT! lol But I was imagining it all playing out exactly as you wrote it!

Hey, my wasband was a champion sky-diver and Beaufort looks mighty familiar to me!

Cute post!

Awwww, this is cute. You are so talented. I really like, both, the picture and the poem. Are you really that wild, Bill?

Thank you for this moment of lightness, dear Bill. We all need it! And I do love courageous squirrels like this one!

Tender and funny. Brine sounds a little bit obscure to me ... but you must know better.

Love,

Yo Bill,

Yes, that's Beaufort, I'd recognize him anywhere.

I got a kick out of this high flying poem.

Maureen - who me?

Linda - hope you believed every blessed word for it's all true my dear. Beaufort is a sky diving champion...

brneyedgrly - wine, I have de wine, would that be white wine, or red wine, or perhaps a blush...

Oklahoma Rose - you're very sweet for saying these words...

Margherita - Beaufort is very courageous for sure. Brine, h'mmmm, now where did I find that word...

Bobby - ah yes, Beaufort is very recognizable for sure. Glad you liked this writing...

angellea - a glass of wine coming up...

Martie - oh my goodness, and I thought he jumped out on his own...

Did you have peanuts for him? Maybe that was what he was looking for running up and down your body.  As far as a talking squirrel - hmmmmmmmmm - how many drinks did you have before decending from the sky?????
It was still cute

Ariana - I do have some peanuts for him, and he found them in my shirt pocket. And yes, he did say that to me, and I only had a couple bottles of wine when he did, h'aaaa...

D. Lester Young - he is a cutie...

Oh this is so cute, thanks for cheering me up this evening.

You know we had a very strange thing happened where I live, and it was all caught up on camera.  A billy goat out grassing got one of his crooked horns caught up on a transporting wire, and went whizzing down the valley way up high there about 15 ft.  Some tourists climbed up and got him unhooked from the wire and after shaking his head a bit, he was as right as rain and none the wiser probably from his encounter in the skies

Cute, cute, cute!

Thanks for checking in on my work, Bill,
but thanks even more for this clever poem
which reminded me of Ray Stevens!

He would have enjoyed this!

Heart2Heart - I'm glad I could cheer you up with Beaufort. I mentioned it to him and he's happy he could do so. Quite a tale about the Billy goat...

Lindsay - Oh, I'm having a great time with all the wine. Poet and don't know it, h'aaa...

Klassy Lassy - got to watch out for those flying squirrels, never know when one just might drop out of the sky...

yann - had a good time writing this one...

Sunshine - Beaufort will return I'm sure with another tale... Wonder if Ray read this...
