When Bones was ten years old,
Mom sat him down,
and told him.

“Your ten years old now.
You can go anywhere,
and do anything you want.

I’m not going to
worry about you
anymore.”

Bobby

That was early, dear Bobby! But she probably knew you were able to "swim". Only because I know that after a difficult time you did great in your life, I can say, that you made her proud. But for a ten year old that was a tough sentence to hear.

Love,
Margherita

Thanks dear Margherita,

That was the day my mother gave me my freedom.  It was a great gift.  She was a wise woman.

Dear, sweet Bobby,

I'm glad you had this experience, for it has helped to shape who you are, and I like who you are.

Thanks dear Arana,

For the kind words.

Bear in mind that not everyone is ready to "hit the streets" at ten.  Mom still watched me pretty close.

Love Bobby
