Crossing the pond and through the trees
I saw nothing along the quietness
But the images of you
Passing one by one like waddling ducks
And feelings flapping like startled birds
From my many memories
Soar up to my colorless heart

Only if there were a window
Or a door in my thought
That I could let you out

So to lose my weight

I sure have felt this way myself.  I hold memories for loved ones in there, and wish I could release them back from time and space.

Loved this.
