Visions

Memories of you
Come into my thoughts again
Those visions of you
Putting your arms around me
Warms this cold old heart again

LOL! Yes Tracey, I get it. There was a time, I thought he was. Memories of the beginning is what kept the fire burning. But, that fire has long since been burned out.

"cold old heart" ~ not yours, Sweet Sue! You are young at heart and it is most definitely warm already!

However, Sweetie, I do understand where you are coming from with this write. Fond memories can keep us warm when winds blow cold.

D. Lester Young, thank you!

Earth Angel, I’m not so sure about that. Maybe it is a cold, young heart

Penwing, thank you!

Brneyedgrly, thank you so much.

In Alaska, people say:

If you are cold, chop wood.
It keeps you warm twice;
first while chopping, then by burning.

Maybe memory hugs are the same?

Beautifully done, dear Sue!

Memories of the past can prepare you for the creation of new memories in the now. When a heart is warm it shows and attracts as honey attracts bees.

So keep it warm!

Love,
Margherita
