Diamonds into Dust
Simple truths are hard to ignore,
We will never succeed if we don’t try,

Sometimes luck is better than fate,
When we are happy, often we cry,

Of all the earthly fortunes,
Silver, gold and precious stones,

They have no value over human life,
Still the greatest gift we’ve known,

What really makes us wealthy,
Is the incredible ability to love,

We give our hearts to ones we choose,
And pray for guidance from above,

It’s so sad when those we bestow this prize,
Don’t cherish this valued trust,

These strong emotions can be destroyed,
Like turning diamonds into dust.

The answer is always NO, Until the question is asked.
