Surveying All or Nothing

Whether overalls or high heels, tired or perky, musk or perfume
Sunrise and sunset are as beautiful as the innate perception of the receiver
And without grandiose vision, in humility and appreciation, I state the obvious
Each glimmer is hope, each reflection is sacred, for now I soak it up waiting for lucidity
And you…
You are as beautiful in nature, as what is above and below, the surround sound of awe
I could tell you each attractive fact that lures me, timelessly
But love…
That is a matter of simplicity, something gravity that pulls two hearts together
Beyond my realm of any reason, more the pleasing of creation’s dream
And I…
Could fall into death without any notice, without a pass or fail
But now, today I am grateful and enjoy this gift, with respect and radiance
Whether make up or windblown, round or slim, difficult or easy
The sun and moon of us is my refuge, my prayer, my every step and heartbeat
Each moment is gold, each breath is happiness, and each trial is victory
