    palliative peace

Mid twilight forest
  whisperings,
near the mirror-lake's
soft silver shore,
a small abandoned boat
fills with moonlight,
in this star-rippled
cosmic symphony
of palliative peace.

Yo Secondhanddreampoet,

This works good for me.  I remember that scene on the lake, on a calm summer night.
