      twilight forest

endless star fields and
moonlit mountaintops,
traceless winds over
ancient paths on the edge
of a tree-swept twilight sky,
here … alone
in the thunderous calm,
life and death;
yesterday and tomorrow…
all is forgiven
all forgotten

Somehow I don't think your beautiful poems will ever be forgotten, Bruce.

Inner peace unfolds beneath those endless star fields ... your words emanate a feeling of letting go.

Most beautiful, dear Bruce.

secondhanddreampoet - on moonlit mountain tops there is only peace and solitude to reflect on a passing day. Great message in this writing...

Yo Secondhanddreampoet,

As you might guess, I really like the idea:

"all is forgiven
all forgotten"

That's the way I remember it.

Oh yes, Bruce,

a place where you can be yourself,
The trees, the stars, they are forgiving,
loving you for who you are...

I loved the feeling in this!
