Perhaps Galileo was seduced
By vespered diamonds flung
Above the vermillion gloaming
One mesmerist, musing, strung
To tempt terrestrial chains…
Delirious with rumors of stars
Nightswept in sylphlike dances
I wade into the endless moon
Where sibyls cast their glances

rocking unborn in her sea
fingers of night peel film after film
of pale corporeal scarf
stripped to tremored soul
nudely gold I glisten
and curve to her obsidian folds

loosed in the gauze of her seduction

and milky tendriled galaxies
weep stark froth against night skin
of sky thighed ebon beauty
and she permits the comets
to lick their blue lapped flames
trailing dust across her heavens

making restless vapors
of men’s celestial dreams

I sip her dark mystery
evoking notes I never knew
the glide of spectral strings
in the sway of twilight mirrors
riding her aural ecstasies
to ancient omsong thrum

I suckle divine truths
from the hem of onyx lip

tossing the curtain of her hair
and gathered labyrinths of astral lace
she leans me back on silken gravity
until she kisses morning shoulders
dappling carnal with sugared dew
and the sighs of parted horizon
pour their slow syrup

to melt me on tongues
of coral dawn
H

Wow!! I think the night is very much aware of her charms after absorbing your sparkling poem and she wears her crown of stars with increased pride.

You are so deeply inspired and the poem is beyond beautiful and I will read it again, it's a keeper for sure.

Love,
Margherita

Poetess, What a keeper!  I am so envious of your linguistic command! I feel as if I were drinking in the cosmos on a beguiling summer night with all it's soul invading wonders.  Captivatingly beautiful and sensual poetry.  Kudos!
