those saturday after special, nothing special times when we were just spending laughter coins that were hidden in our next potential worm dirt then running under the sprinkler sun again to get some warm back inside our skin pages I used to read your ink out loud in bed some of the words you had made by folding your arms over your breasts to be modest and some you had erased when you turned over and handed me the pen to write a poem for you something with for ever after in it you said and then you would shiver on purpose so the lines all blended together blind and no one else except us would ever know what the message was if they found you lost and walking nude across a momentary love song ___________ daark (mannikin) |
