Constantly, constantly
Thoughts in my head
Voices speaking eternally
Cannot get away from
Thoughts in my head
Been such a long time
Since there was a truce
To the war in my mind
The raging of images
Somewhere lies the truth
Pain stricken, aching heart
Soul and body as one
Cannot separate the parts
Only to realize in times like this
After already come undone
Constantly, constantly
Feeling like some misfit
Eternally, eternally
Trying to quit,
Letting life live me
And not living it

This is a space a lot of us find ourselves in.  You have to stop, take a deep breath, and then find "me time."  Trust me once you can do this, the balance returns.

Good write, but sadly all too true for so many.

"Letting life live me
And not living it"

Jerry, this is what many of us do until something shakes our foundation.
I've learned that taking control of how you live is the key to happiness.
Thanks for the thoughtful write.
