you had savored the music sounds somewhere before
and when you brought your sighs to my window
your wore only your forest of woman songs

like tall hollow trees under the lips of wind
moan music swallowed in flute glass shapes
your throat was a swan song crying of love

the dragons of my leather were docile hounds
you patted their eyes with your smile
the hem of your godiva scented them in lavender

they writhed to be restless against the moon
but your ribbons were gossamer fetterings
and your laughter left locked freedom undone

then with dawn you were but yesterday again

You have some truly great descriptions in your poem dear poet, this is only one which I enjoyed very much:

"the dragons of my leather were docile hounds"

You show great imagination in your poetry, always it is so colourful and full of fascination.

Hey D
You and your comely dragon whisperer make silky paper music.

Love your sounds,

I read this and I read this - and each time, I fall in love with it just a little bit more.  It's like a fairy tale of words wrapped around the touch of your poetic mind.

May I say that I love this?  Because .. I do.

So there!

ah, the leather and lace of gossamer fetterings
her laughter unlocking freedom's letterings
gifts not bound to beg, steal, or borrow
a yesterday memory...knew song of tomorrow

...liked this breath of wind, Dark One!
