Let Love Die

Say what isn’t true,
when love implodes.
Force it back into
the hidden darkness,
heedless of the desire
that lives on.
Trod heavy on feelings
that once sustained your life,
trying to ignore emotions that
were so gently nurtured and strengthened.
Sever the heart strings,
for they can suffer the
weight of the pain
no longer.

Close your eyes,
lower your head,
turn around and
let love die.

let love die...sadly beautiful. all things must pass as sung George Harrisson, I would add something that inspires me, after love there is love....

Oh, gawd, this aches. ~ and I have been there. I believe that I understand where you are coming from and I pray that when your heart heals that new love will find a home within it ~ as it did mine.
