Bones recalls
all the horrible,
frightening stuff
that hurt him bad.

To hear another
relate all that stuff
just hurts his pride
way too much.

He doesn’t want
to hear, or even read
innocent hints about it.

Bobby

Dear, sweet Bobby,

I certainly understand how Bones feels. It's frustrating to be going through something or to have gone through something and listen to others recount their own hardships as though nobody else has bad things happen to them. It's just irritating.

Hello Bobby, when we can, the sufferings have to be shared, it helps, thanks for the poem.

Sometimes I get so upset with the things that life throws our way to the most innocent people in the world and I wonder why.  But until Bones comes to grip and does his own private "Dance in the Woods" it is always going to hurt, I fear.

Thanks dear Jan,

I'm going to have to rewrite this poem someday.  I can see it's not at all clear.

I think I understand this.  There are things that push to the front of my mind sometimes that I push back. It takes a lot of mental strength to just shove it back where it belongs - in my past.  These things helped make me the woman I am today, but I don't want to share them or relive them in my memories.
