Even though the nights keep falling
and the light of the moon fills
this lonely bed as I sleep

Envisioned in my dreams are the
memories of us as we journeyed
together in the moments of disbelief

For I loved you like no other
So true, So strong, I still
feel it within these veins

Undying and never-ending
My love for you still
to this very day, Remains

Lost in the thought of the softness
of your skin, Remembering the moments
when you were truly mine

Oh how I wish to live in those
days once again, to feel that love
from you, was just so divine

As I wait and wander endlessly
searching for the heart I held so
dear. With hope I wait for it’s return

Until then, my dreams
will slowly, and lifelessly
Dissolve and Disappear

Oh, the loving and the dreaming. ~ The yearning and the remembering...

May your dreams be manifested into reality.

Rich,

This was a very tender and emotional write,
your best I must say!

and I loved how you ended, just perfect!
