A southern wind

pulled the oceans current

as we floated beneath summer's sky

leaving our minds to wander

in quiet prayer

spreading the warm rays

grateful for the day

and gentle breeze

that cooled our jets in a stream

of see through cloud cover

a quick spin around the moon

on the kite tails of our youth

leaving silhouettes in the sun.
