Summer
Shadows-- of leaves
On the bedroom wall

Let’s not get up
For another hour

Or two
Since you and I
Have nothing
Better to do
Though we can
Well imagine
Others might disagree

There are songbirds
At the feeder
Two fox squirrels
Playing among the trees

On the window sill
An old blue bottle
I brought back for you

Odysseus returning
From the sea

Yo John,

This is very fine.  Stuff washed up by the ocean is always great fun, and adventure.

I just love your style, Huan Yi...crisp and descriptive and always seems to make me want more

Thank you both

This is a lone diver's
memory poem
to a special woman
who waited for him
to come back again
on a Rhode Island shore.

Thanks again

John
