The saint laments the things he has done,
as he looks upon the world with a hidden frown
that reveals the pain growing in side of him.
As he looks upon the faces of those admire him so,
He remembers that they do not know his guilty past, filled with mistakes that have tainted his life.
Now as he stands in front of the masses,
his sins have finally caught up with him at last.
All he prays for now is the chance to make amends,
and be the man that inspires all other men not to sin.

"Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing,
Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortals ever dared to dream before;" -Edgar All
