Tantric Turntable
By: Noah Eaton

.
.
.
...throw yourself out of time...

...from the oscillating rhythm of your heart...

...without the least wavering thought...

...divulge your fine art...
.
.
.
...when you touch deeply...

...there's no need to let go...

...there's no forbidden frontiers...

...when your vision is whole...
.
.
.
You can feel that pranic awakening,
at the base of your spine,
coiling like a snake,
budding like the flower of life,
you're the dakini next door,
spilling twilight language,
on the mystical dance floor...
.
.
.
(Lay that vicinity bare,
before your eyes,
adjust your mind,
to all-perceptive sight,
darling dakini...)
.
.
.
(...your body's a temple,
a paradoxical music box,
nestle that vessel,
worship its sacred spaces,
darling dakini...)
.
.
.
My head is swimming,
the world is spinning,
like a tantric turntable,
what we share is no new beginning,
it's maintaining divine balance,
while transcending...
.
.
.
(Ooh ooh ooh ooh...)
.
.
.
...you traverse the sky...

...shaking static in the mirror of my mind...

...in a chemise of ribbon lightning...

...in your higher octaves I'm purified...
.
.
.
You can feel that pranic awakening,
at the base of your spine,
coiling like a snake,
budding like the flower of life,
you're the dakini next door,
spilling twilight language,
on the mystical dance floor...
.
.
.
Spiraling,
spiraling,
the cosmic plane,
unrestrained...
.
.
.
Spiraling,
spiraling,
the cosmic plane,
unrestrained...
.
.
.
My head is swimming,
the world is spinning,
like a tantric turntable,
what we share is no new beginning,
it's maintaining divine balance,
while transcending...
.
.
.
(Ooh ooh ooh ooh...)
.
.
.
...there's a song in my head,
thicker than milk...

...sibilating,
softer than dupioni silk...

...leaking down my spine,
buttering my bones...

...only your obscure breath,
helps me intone...
.
.
.
.
.
(Oooh!)
The world is swimming!
(Oooh!)
The world's a tantric turntable!
(Oooh!)
The world is swimming!
(Oooh!)
The world's a tantric turntable!
(Oooh!)
The world is swimming!
(Oooh!)
The world's a tantric turntable!
(Oooh!)
The world is swimming!
(Oooh!)
The world's a tantric turntable!

Nothing beats the feeling of rising kundalini!
Spin, baby, spin! lol

I think yours is spiked with a super Booster Juicer!

Gosh, I should have waited to read this until the morning when I get up ~ instead of now as I am about to retire for the night! Now I'll be doing a 'Happy Dance' all the way to my bed! lol

Goodnight, my dear angel friend!

Whew! Why am I relieved that this site does not support audio?

It seems I only felt the thorns,
And so it goes" - Billy Joel

There are many things that this site does not support, sir. Comments like yours is one of them.

Awwwwwww, sorry to have disrupted your natural circadian rhythm here, dearest Linda! LOL!

Yeah, I've found that, after I have completed any volunteer activity, and feel a great sense of achievement from it, I don't feel sleepy at all for up to three hours afterward, even if I have wrapped it up at midnight. So half of this past week I finished volunteer activities around midnight, and I didn't feel even the slightest bit sleepy until 3 AM. It's as though my ribcage is a tuning fork, stricken by the aspiration, and my bones just keep vibrating for three hours until they're finally pacified! Hopefully the happy dance I conjured up here won't keep you awake like that, LOL!

(huggies)

Sincerely,
Noah Eaton

Awwwwwwwwww, thanks OldPoet!

LOL! A lot of what I write gels together like song arrangements in my head. With this particular write, it sounds like slow burning, electro-trance. So to some I'm sure it would sound so grotesque and bizarre it would scare them, LOL!

Sincerely,
Noah Eaton

Awwwwwwwww, thanks Clang!

I was a little worried upon posting this that some would feel I pushed the envelope too much from the title alone. I've long been fascinated with Tantra and how it encourages individuals to expand their boundaries, to accept every moment in life as not positive or negative but all part of our learning curve, our growth.

That said, in Western countries primarily nowadays, Tantra's deeper essence has been disregarded and when many think of Tantra they think solely of the physical love-making aspect of it. This certainly has sensual undertones to it, but I wanted to convey the deeper appeal of Tantra and its positive affirmations in a catchy way.

Awwwwwwww, I had a wonderful weekend at the Mississippi Street Fair! I'm as buoyant as can be this summer volunteering. I'll be at Yoshida's Sand In The City late this week, which all the proceeds go to benefiting educational puppeteering programs for children in the Portland area. Helping put together a future puppet show at the Tears Of Joy Puppet Theater is one of my short-term dreams, what they do is simply inspiring and positive! Hope you had a great weekend as well, and enjoy this new week!

Sincerely,
Noah Eaton

Awwwwwwwwwww, thanks Helen! Your kindest words mean ever so much to me! As of late I've had difficulty intuitively expressing my strong emotions in a way where I don't come off too strongly on this forum, and I was unsure about this one, but I'm glad it has gotten such a positive response!

Awwwwwwwwww, thanks my miscellaneous friend!

I find that, on the Open forum, I just love making lyrical poetry that has a soaring quality to it, while on other forums I write poetry in a more traditional structure. Songwriting isn't at all far-removed from poetry, nonetheless, and this is essentially a thematic continuation of "Liberated" inspired by these deep conversations I've had with dakinis amidst helping co-organize an upcoming festival in Portland! The line "dakini next door" was in fact inspired by part of one of their e-mail addresses, LOL!

Noah Eaton

Yay, thanks Shellie!

Every summer I just love writing these ridiculously epic-feeling, yet upbeat and infectious, songs, and I hope "Tantric Turntable" is to this summer what "U.D.O", "Zenaida The Magicicada" and "Neptune Retrograde" were in previous summers, LOL!

You write very lovely poems too, yay!

Noah Eaton
