This was written for a fine lady poet who goes by the screen name of Raven. Raven fell on hard times which resulted in her living a rather unseemly life but she got herself turned around and is a model citizen today.

It seems I only felt the thorns,
And so it goes" - Billy Joel

Yes we all wish her well. And I personally admire her strong faith.   A fine tribute to a sweet and good lady.

Yo OldPoet,

The lady has pretty legs.  She reminds me of my woman.  Does "unseemly" have something to do with nylon stockings?

Love the "unseemly" quip. Good one!

Nice touch with the candles, brings a nice romantic feel to the poem.
