I can feel the lonliness.  You do a wonderful job partnering pictures with your poetry.

Hi Alison,

The web is so rich in images that it is relatively easy to find a pic that satisfies the theme of the poem that I've just written.

There is an image with a poem that I've yet to post (Ambivalence) that underlines my peculiar encounter with coincidence. I found an image of a painting on the web site of an artist in Brooklyn. After capturing the image I decided to return to the artist's site and leave her a message as to what I was doing.

Then I noticed that she had a bio page. I perused it and then a bell rang loud and clear. Through a series of emails I discovered that her aunt was the best friend of my mother when she was a young unmarried woman in central Illinois.

Thanks for your observation, Alison.

A finely tuned write to ponder.
In the end, we all make solo exits.
Perhaps, we leave even Loneliness behind in the dust as we merge with the cosmos?

After reading this and Midnitesun's response, I can't repeat my same sentiments.  Funny, I was just thinking that maybe when I finally leave this plain, the loneliness too will be left behind.

I just love your work, and how your mind works.   Always a delight to read your work.

Carpe' Diem,

Extraordinary~

Sometimes we wonder if our soulmate has passed,
or if we haven't meet them yet....or never had a chance to met them.

When time is running out, we ponder if, our last breath will be alone, without the one we were meant to be with.
