The Man
cried out,
as he lay dying.

Not for assistance

Cries of warning.

Still,
he cries.

He reached
for the highest
volume.

Climbed to the
tallest
shelf.

Sought
deeper looks.

And now,
lays crushed
and dying

'neath a stack
of holy books.

*note to self:
It doesn't matter what you read.
You still have to deal with Life
as it presents itself to you
and no reading is required.
Just enjoy the little Flip Book.
It goes by quickly.
