Hiking her skirt above her knees, she sits,
a pearl of wisdom, legs dimpled.
She likes what she sees. He wonders.
Did she do this just for him?
Edging her legs, tanned, toned,
he pretends not to notice .
His manhood tested, he made the grade!

Sipping her drink, she smiles at the waiter
Nice eyes…sweet young thing.
She winks as he brings her another
double with a twist. She likes the twist!

Laughing at his jokes,
touching his hand, rubbing that finger,
a wedding band gone for a while.
White where the sun never reaches,
an indentation forever there .
Hers, replaced by a cultured pearl
when her own band went missing
in the back of his truck.
He smiles at her giggles and jiggles,
as the skirt slips higher.

Did he notice? Did he enjoy?

She is in love with love; he is in love with her;
yet they both know, all that glitters…

An intelegent woman always knows how to bait the hook.  Most important when fishing.
They have learned that men are among the easiest to catch of those that roam the wild kingdom.  Even better if they have a truck, EH?

Clever, seductive write,
Well done,
Tracey.

So very different than your usual poetry Jan, but always your brilliant style shines through, just a very readable piece that I enjoyed.

Oh such naughty, naughty brilliance, m'dear!
