Like magic his thoughts went out to her
And wrapped around her whole
Warm she felt, as a child protected
Against the night that he tried to control
She sobbed for all that went wrong
And his thoughts turned to console
He will think of her pain
And take it all away
Replacing it with tender love
As the thoughts, like pictures play
Her mind filled with magic
In her life, to create a better day
