He is beautiful….

a wildflower smile
that makes you wish he would
laugh in deliberate machismo, so you’ll look
so he can devastate your heart
with a flick of his eyes
while exasperatingly unaware
you would do anything
for …
just…
one…
kiss…

Just 'one'? That's it SEA?

It's gonna take a lot more than that.

Have you ever felt your lips pucker, unconsciously, hoping for the kiss that never comes,
I too know this feeling.
Emotional depth in this poem.

Much enjoyed,  Nice to see you writing.
I missed your wonderful tallent on these pages,
Tracey.

It seems we are both in a kissy mood, dear SEA!

Anything for ONE kiss seems a lot, but during the "phase of desire" that's exactly what we think.

Words like luring flames ... beautiful!

Love,

Sea -

This is one of my favorite Renoir paintings! There is an air of flirtation and relaxation that fills the canvas and makes me yearn for those afternoons of good wine and stolen glances.
Enjoyed!

When its a great kiss, you want a whole lot more!
That is one of my favorite Renoirs, The Luncheon scene. There was so much going on in that one scene!
But the woman on The Swing is still my all time favorite Renoir.
