He grew suspicious of the cattiness of women
wondering if they were secretly conspiring to test his affection for the brunette
most likely the redhead was just jealous that her overt sexuality hadn't won him over

sure he was attracted to the red, but not one thing interesting had ever fluttered from her misanthropic lips
he found the brunette's shyness more alluring
and though she said little, this made the softly spoken spartan words all the more captivating
as if every story she told was a great beginning for a new poem or book he thought of composing

the harder the red tried to taunt and tease him with her boasts of physical achievements and sparse diet,
the less attractive she became
noticing interest waning, she let her hair down and dove in the pool, dripping wet and slick
he could only think of the next time he would see the brunette again

I enjoyed this very much, the way you chose to compare how these women affected you. The ending was perfect!

yeah, I just wish the "affair" was going as well as my writing. I wrote more after the ending but got rid of it because my instincts were right the first time
