The pipes are calling on the moor-
Me blood does fairly boil-
To take me claymore, off to war
And leave this lowly toil.

To see the Clans in bright array
The tartans proud and bold-
A man is proud to be a Scot!
Like in the days of old.

There's nothing like the sound of pipes
To hear them squeal and skirl-
Will raise the hair upon your neck-
And make you face the world.

To be a Scot! and hear the pipes-
A bonnie lot indeed-
I'd rather wear me tartan
Than the bloody English tweed.

The lilt o' pipes, the roll o' drums
They never seem to fail-
To stir me Scottish 'eart to proudly...
Spin a Traveler's Tale.

John,

Thank you for the Traveler Tales.  You know, I hope more are reading these than it appears.  If not, the general masses are missing out!  I feel like I am reading the first edition of a rare book.  Wonderful writing.  I come home and look for my next installments.

I am addicted you know.  And a fine addiction this is.

Oh! and I love the pipes too.

I agree with Alison. Love the Traveler's tales and the pipes.

I don't know which to fear most, a Texas Scot or a Scottish Texan. Either way the verse is far from frightening.

"Im learning to fly but I aint got wings
Comin down is the hardest thing." - Tom Petty
