I could feel it
But it wasnÕt my heart.
The way the sun leans
Against our eyebrows
To the morning rise.

I felt I was with my eyes
With my breath subtle,
And my fingers leading
Into my pocket,
Like a wanderer with his own map.

I turned and saw the cracked street corner,
The shadows of merchants walking
Around in front of their stores.

I searched for a thought,
A way to sit and find the
Birds watching each other
Like the sky to a clock.

And there I was,
Sitting with my hand in my pocket,
Lifting my ideas around
The cables and trees that
Soared around the city.

Soared around the peoples thoughts,
And today, my feet dangled,
Where the city never stopped.

lots of cool imagery here, like this (which I loved):

The way the sun leans
Against our eyebrows"
