While Bones pushes
his friend’s wheel chair through
our crowded summer streets,
they talk of many things.

Bones tells the kid
about all the tricks he’s pulled,
both the good ones,
and the ones that turned out
too rotten to even think about.

The wheel chair kid
doesn’t have that much to say.

Bones knows
that he doesn’t
get around much.

He does tell Bones,
that he wished that he
could do some of those things
that Bones has done.

It’s then that Bones realizes
just how lucky he is
to be a normal boy.

Bobby

And along with this awareness, compassion enters his heart ...

And the boy in the wheel chair now has something to dream about.

Thank you, dear Bobby.

I am glad that Bones has someone to share his stories with, and that he is learning that it is better to want what you have than to have what you want. The boy in the wheelchair has a hero to look up to in Bones, and this is a good thing. But I wonder if Bones will realize that he has a hero to look up to in the boy in the wheelchair as well.

Thanks dear Margherita,

Thanks dear Arana,

For the kind words.  Being a little boy prostitute, Bones looks up to everyone.  It comes with the job.

There's always someone worse off than we are. I guess there's a lesson to be learned here.

Thanks dear Ida,

What you say is very true.

Bones and the Wheel Chair Kid are lucky to have each other as friends.
