I’m dreaming of a white rose offered to me
I take her in cradling hands,
A gift that is given ever so freely
Her petals soft as the finest sand

Fair white rose, fairest of all
Plucked from the thorny bush
Oh how I can hear her lilting call
From all other roses I forsook

Holding close to breathe her in
A kiss now, mentioned not by name
Through lips red and moistened
Let the moment do all the proclaim

I suspend this breath inhaled
To cheat this dream beyond the pale

~sigh~
I'm keeping this one.
Stunningly beautiful doesn't do it justice.

White roses are fascinating in their purity and how you describe your chosen one is truly enchanting.

You are beautifully inspired.

The white rose wouldst most assuredly feel safe, secure and adored in thy tender, loving hands.

Thy words be as soft and as pure as the petals of the sweetest rose, Sir Poet Knight.
