When colors blend,
And mix and melt,
A new emotion,
Is discovered and felt.

A feeling of reflection,
A thought of content.
A moment of peaceful,
A forever in a moment.

Scraping away,
What so rose,
It sets and falls,
Where no one knows.

It washes away,
And then it paints,
A portrait of beauty,
A scene of grace.

A fragment of,
Something more.
It's always there-
And it will restore.

It calms the spirit,
Feeds the mind,
Tames the soul,
And dims upon mankind.

It's the entrance to night.
It's the exit of regret.
It's the simple form of power,
It's called a sunset.

some very lovely words in this, your last stanza:

"It's the entrance to night.
It's the exit of regret.
It's the simple form of power,
It's called a sunset"
