Born into the world in autumn,
So very long ago.
He came to land in a flimsy craft,
With only himself to row.

Son of someone, but he'll never know,
He only has his name to keep.
Left without a mother nor father,
An absence that hurts- so deep.

He grew up with a lonely man,
In a house a upon a cliff.
His life was sad, but it was life.
And that's more than a "what if".

Growing stronger by the day,
He showed something greater than life.
And in all his empty past,
He gave the all in his strife.

He found a blade upon the sands,
Made of shining steel.
With a handle oak, he grasped it firm,
And sliced, and spun it like a wheel.

He trained by himself,
And soon the world had found,
A man of power, of passion roar,
But he could move without a sound.

Accumulating kills, and scars as well.
He became the best of the best.
And this is only half it,
His life is anything but rest.

Clad in silver, and standing tall,
He learned the art of force.
And soon he just thought,
And objects flew back and forth.

He summoned his power from the sun,
And with it he became a hero.
He saved the world from tyrants wide,
And reduced the evil to zero.

He grew old, and weaker,
But the world in motion,
Was now so free,
And for at last, he returned to the ocean.

He stretched his arms,
And breathed the air.
He closed his eyes so slowly,
And then he left it there.

Swept away into the wind,
He burst into a million,
Silver petals of beauty,
Perhaps there were a trillion.

He is now a memory, Simply put.
He loved the world forever,
And that is why, he leaves us freedom,
That we shall always treasure.

Born from nothing, Yet still alive,
This is the message that I send--
From hard work, And love of good,
He lived, and died, The Legend.
