The clap and peal of lightning
Thundering boom through the fitful night
The electric fire striking all over,
This is what you are

The sky opening to clearest blue
After stormy, cloudy grey
The calm skies coming through,

The cool wind blowing fresh upon face
Invigorating every nerve alive
The movement through time and space,

The refreshing memory of what used to be
Somehow forgotten, lost long ago
The missing piece of the puzzle inside of me,

The food and drink of which I subsist
