What happens when words fade when your love for me goes away What happens when you're left standing strong but everything with me has gone wrong What happens when I'm left here crying on my knees crying a river that turns into a sea What happened to the love I once knew What happened to me and you? |

The answer, sadly enough, and out of caution I use the alternate vernacular, is "Stuff happens." But the question is well put through verse that did not "just happen."  |
