Very nice, I loved how the picture
matched your poem,
very sad...

Oh, so sad! The pain and sorrow are increased by the thought of what could have been, had not something "unnatural" like war interrupted his life.

Intense.

Love,

Sad, yes, and I love the interplay between the words cold and warm in this yet another extremely stirring poem.  Impressive and  vivid presentation with the added image to enhance the power of your perfect choice of words.

This sad.  I found myself looking at the picture more than the poem though because the picture told its own story and was so interesting. Then I went back and just read the poem again.  The picture and poem are an interesting combination.

Do you create the pictures too?  Or do you write to them?  I always find it interesting to learn how others combine pictures and poems.

The poem is sad.  I have a very dear friend whose son came home from Iraq last week.  I am so glad this poem is not his story.

Thank you for sharing.

Thanks to all for your comments.

Alison, the poem comes first, then I search the net for a corresponding image.
