Your point, I must admit, Is valuably true, But still it doesn't seem to fit, What I constructed to. Your end is a positive, As mine is as well, And unlike a negative, Our two ideas repel. I'll change my thoughts just a little, If you could alter yours. We might be able to meet in the middle, If you pick the center of the doors. Just try my way, and give it a chance, And don't pretend to hate it. Look my way, then take your stance, And maybe I'll just buy it. I looked into your bright brown eyes, And what I saw was intriguing. But the deeper and deeper into those eyes, Your resistance kept on weakening. I know you want to walk my way, You're just a little afraid. But if you try, per say, Perhaps you're day will be made. I'm only trying to widen your view, Change your heart of solid. I'm just trying to help a few, With an idea so bright and vivid. If you just open your mind, Perhaps you can save the day, I think it'll help, and you will find, It's good to walk my way. |
