I've got time in my pocket
Where my money used to be
Got a song in my soul
That used to be a part of me

There are whispers in the wind
There is thunder in the storm
There’s a woman on my mind
That used to keep me warm

I keep on living
Just keep on living for today
I keep on breathing
Just to pass the time of day

And I got feelings
Just like everybody else
I just can’t feel them
They’re way too deep inside myself

I use to work for a living
But the work got in my way
I’d rather strum an old guitar
Than exchange myself for pay

Got a hundred songs or more
Sitting on a dusty shelf
Cause a song is not worth singing
If you’re singing to yourself

I keep on living
Just keep on living for today
I keep on breathing
Just to pass the time of day

And I got feelings
Just like everybody else
I just can’t feel them
They’re way too deep inside myself

I really wish I could hear this sung.  As I read, my mind kept trying to make a tune (but it failed hideously).  I really like the lyrics.

Well now, that had a nice "twang" to it dear Lizzie.  I have yet to hear a song so when Nan shows up ask her to find you a mp3 site to put them on so we can hear them?  I think people don't even realize you are a songwriter, that actually sells songs!

I could hear this one and feel it too.  Miss you, wish I was there hanging out with you two.

Carpe' Diem,
Mysteria
