.

Dew
On summer grasses
A faint mist rising up
As the air grows warm

Hotdogs in buns
Vanilla ice cream
Mares and stallions
In festive parade

Again tonight
But not for us
Gaudy fireworks
Beneath the stars

From trumpets and drums
To sighing violins

Ah Debra
We should have slept together
In the time we had

This made me a little sad.  Time slips away before we realize it's gone.

You seized the day and a moment with Debra.

Endearing poem, Huan Yi~
