CROSSROADS

The summer hills are carpeted in endless shades of green
More lush and rich a woodland aging eyes have never seen
More delicate a canopy God’s hand has never grown
A deeper sense of peace this weary heart has never known

Whenever I am troubled and have spent my share of hope
I go where lazy waters tumble down a verdant slope
Where pastel meadows hug the hills and woods await my feet
To tread where my unrest and God’s tranquility will meet

This is just so totally after my heart, dear Elizabeth. Your gratitude, your appreciation of the divine gifts that Nature offers us, is so poignantly expressed. I am moved.

A gem to cherish, a keeper!

Love,
Margherita

I'll vouch for you, Liz - You do, indeed, go treading in the meadows... and the woods.. and the streams... Where else would you find such inspiration to write, yes?..
