Liberty Bell Pictures, Images and Photos
                 THE LIBERTY BELL
                  Billie age 16

             RING!  Oh bell of liberty.
                Ring loud and long
Ring until American hearts are filled
                With patriotic song.

          When Columbus discovered America
             There was no liberty bell.
The day the British came to fight
Paul Revere rode to the village to tell.

Patrick Henry, I've heard it said.
"Give me liberty or give me death."
He got his liberty, and praise we'll sing
To the liberty bell and it's famous ring.

With a glorious nation in a ring side seat,
You rang out the foes bitter defeat.
Once more you'll ring your cool clear chime.
And peace and freedom will again be thine.

This poem was writen during world war two.

Oh, Billie, amazing what you wrote at 16!

You shared in the events with the enthusiasm of your age.

Beautiful!

I hope I can write as well as you, when I grow up.

Hope you like the bell I added to your poem.

Love,
Tracey.

Thank you all so much for reading my work,  Some times I think the things I wrote as a young person are too silly, but they still have meaning.

Thank you so much Tracey for adding the picture of the bell, I realy love it.

Thanks again.

Love to all Billie C.
