Acquainted with suffering
shoulders hold the world
Bent with their worries
no room for her own

Searching for exit signs
above doorways
And trapdoors
in hallways

She came in somehow
There has to be a way out
of this
and that

Yo dear Tina,

Your first strophe say it the way it should be.

I like that.

A fascinating write, Tina.
Entrances without exits leaves me thinking
about the Eagles song, "Hotel California"
where 'you can check out anytime,
but you can never leave.'

Born and raised in California,
no matter where I journey or live
it seems my spirit still resides
within some Hotel California.
