Forever In Your Heart

0 posted 2009-06-24 11:36 PM

Please I beg thee , kiss the sorrow off my brow,
taste the loneliness upon these dry lips,
fill my ears with whispers of angelic love,

These empty arms ache to be embraced,
fingers desire to be intertwined, clasped,
inside these eyes your reflection,

My fragile heart cannot take the torture,
a river of thoughts runs threw my mind,
the dam is on the verge of breaking,

Come my love, wrap you love all around me,
feel my heart, that has been emptied,
only to be filled with your lovers words,

The night draws close, the hardest part of day,
for when I lay my head upon a lone pillow,
it is but, a poor substitute of your chest,

When I close my eyes to dream, dreams seem real,
only to awaken without you here, insanity,
madness of heart, endless torture,

Come quickly my love, or else I shall surely die!

No, you will not die, but the longing and yearning will intensify and ask for fulfillment. May he be back soon.
Beautiful romantic outcry!

Bill brought smiles ...

Hello - I'm new - so much to do here - and lots to learn from people too.

Heres a few things about love this work brings back to  me.

Your Poem reminded  of Keats and his love of Beauty - and of course of Plato and his Symposium about love and why we search for it - why we long for company and support. Keats spoke of beauty as one of Platos essences or Forms.

The greeks were both mythical and objective about Love  - Love was the wound suffered from the gods when they split man/woman into two distinct beings - Love is the actual essence that lies behind all life and things. love and beauty must be by its very nature the love of immortality as well as of the Beautiful.

We suffer in order to complete ourselves.

Oh well back to the grind - to earthen day!

I too have felt the paing of loneliness,
I know how hard it is to be without someone to love.

I only hope you actually have someone coming back to take away your loneliness, because when he gets there, I think he is in for some serious loving.
If you are looking for that special someone, I hope he can handle you, because it sounds like you have a whole bunch of love stored up, just waiting to be poured upon the lucky guy.

With your looks and tallent, You should do just fine.

Love intensly, live to the fullest, share it.
Tracey.
