MY HEART IS IN PIECES ON THE FLOOR,

BECAUSE YOUR NOT LIVING ANYMORE.

YOU DIED ON THANKSGIVING DAY LAST YEAR,

AND I AM STILL SHEDDING TEARS,

YOU WERE SUCH A GOOD DOG MAGGIE.

THINGS ARE NOT THE SAME.

YOU CANNOT LICK MY FEET,

OR KISS KOBEN MY BROTHER,

OR FLOP DOWN ON THE BED.

COME BACK HONEY.

WE ALL MISS YOU SO MUCH.

I LOVE YOU HONEY SAY I TO JOE, MAGGIE.

Dear dollmaker, this is such a poignant poem! Beautifully written.
I know what you convey, I know this pain too of a pet who moves on and leaves us in tears and inconsolable.
But you will see you will dream of Maggie and you will continue your connection.

(((((kerry))))

Hugs.

Keri, I haven't seen you on these blue pages for some time. I am delighted to see your return.
Your sense of loss is so vividly rendered, that I am reliving the pain of having lost my beloved cat Magic. It felt as though the 'magic' had gone out of my life.

Giving you a warm, compassionat hug,

EA
