Slice of Life

The cutting edge of dawn
Cleaves flowering principles
From stems of experience
Teethed upon the past,
Indentured marks on flesh and faith

As if by perennial blueprint
Sun and moon follow timelessly
Drawing blade to meet
Changing pitch and fleet
As still, buds new caress of light

Colors calmly build another day
Becoming bolder,
Through the partings make their way
Enchanted,
The observer makes selection by fillet
