Forever In Your Heart

When the tree had blown down,
there was a surprise underneath,
black pointy shoes like a clown,
socks of green like a holly wreath,

And all the townsfolk had came to see,
of the noises, what could be the matter?
a house had fallen near the city,
as tiny feet began to pitter-patter,

Shes dead, I heard someone say,
then she stepped unto the brick road,
those red glittered shoes walked this way,
in her arms, a basket she did hold,

A dog named Toto, her very best friend,
she did make new ones, a lion,
a scarecrow, and a tinman,
onward to their journey searching,

Times of trouble did come about,
as friends do, help one another,
pull together and work it out,
they become your sister or brother,

When they arrived at the Emerald city,
each had a wish they wanted to come true,
there wasn't a wizard, what a pity,
all their wishes, what would they do?

Then as one thought as one should think,
Courage had already been found,
the tinman had a heart that could sink,
and the scarecrow had a brain larger than a pound,

But what of her wish? she clicked the red rubies,
her feet lifted into the air,she began to roam,
with tear filled eyes and sad goodbyes,
she recalled "Theres no place like home".

Yo dear A Romantic Heart,

This is a good take-off on Wonderland.  You spin a good tale Alice.

Believe it or not, I once lived on a yellow brick road.

Love Bobby
