Forever In Your Heart

Today I am going to tell you how much I love you,
not tomorrow, not years from now,
but today,

Today is now, this minute, this hour,
time is unknown, how much we have,
today I will love you,

Not a minute too soon, too late,
the time is now, waiting no longer,
I will love you today,

Each day is special, a gift, precious,
I love you with words, with deeds,
I love you more than life,

You are the world to me, special,
you are cherished, loved beyond measure,
I value every moment, I love you!

In my life, there would be a void,
without you or your love,
keep my love and heart with you always,

I love you today, not tomorrow,
not a second too late,
but now, and forever!

Note: Simorah I hope you don't mind, after reading your poem, I was inspired to write this, in just five minutes, so you know as a writer, when inspired, we must write, write, write, or we forget it, and it passes, we miss the poem, the story.

Thanks for the inspiration, of course this isn't the first time I have been inspired by others poetry here on PIP.

This is absolutely hauntingly beautiful poesy, and you're right, it has to come straight from the heart, there and then.  I have been trying to find a favourite verse, but I'm not able to, it is all so gorgeous.

Couldn't be said any better, or inspired in any other way.

I am catching myself looking at my watch wondering how the time difference takes toll!  : )

Ct~

Yes it seems if we actually look at the time,
watch it, on a clock, a watch, it passes so slowly, but yet if we are busy not thinking about it , it passes all to quickly, and then we realize it is too late, too late for alot of things we wanted to say or do with a person.

Thanks~ARH

Rich~

AS long as I have breath, I will write,
poetry and writing is in my soul,
and as long as I have admirers and readers
like you, well I will feel encouraged to continue, I know it is hard for poets, to post their hearts on here and some never get a reply or a few replies, and as a poet or a writer, you can write and write all you want,
but to be heard, listened to, and understood, that makes all the difference!

That is why you write, to have a voice,
to express yourself...

Thanks for complimenting me so much!
