Leave me nothing
Nothing of the world
I need nothing
All I possess
Is yours-
Yours alone.
The starry skies
My heart's desire,
The music of the waters
Its soothing sensation,
I give to you.
The dawn
The dusk
I write by your name.
My crown of glory
I put at your feet;
Each breath I take,
I take only for you.
All my joy,
My moments' laugh
I bestow for you.

In return
Give me your tears
Your sobs
Your sighs;
Leave me your sorrow-
And keep a smile.
From dawn 'till dusk
I'll feel your smile
Treasure your tears
And live.
