Memories

Memories of blue sky and calm seas
Distant lands and roaming sailor's tales
Coloured coral reefs, gaily painted fish
Warm winds that fill the canvas sails

Tales of hurricanes and storming tempests
Ships that have disappeared alone
Strange weather in the Bermuda Triangle
Words that turn to stone

Islands that appear on ships radar
But are never seen again
Music that seems to be in the wind
The Albatross that calls your name

Memories of blue sky and calm seas
Now only seen from a sandy beach
Watching the far horizon
The memories now out of reach.

Ah yes those memories, sometimes they come back to haunt us in many ways.  Lovely poesy Johan, and nice to see a comrade soul here.
