the old dog was petting my hand
as if she thought it to be a friend
and I guess she was a worthy master
allowing one so godless as I
to eat her left over steak and squeaker

the neighborly fence was on patrol again
slumpstone in uniform from here to there
keeping the writhing vines at bay
yet keeping my vulgar recitals confidential
as if only listening with stone deaf ears

across the avenue a merry virgin declined
to bless me with day time or anytime
as she exited her german car speaking spanish
wearing italian heels and french perfume
while ignoring my old english ogling eyes

jack dan and I just slipped down easy then
behind the camouflage of cohiba curtains
I used the laser gun to shoot bishop black
so cathy cleavage could rambo the news
and give me some weather or not commentary

before the veins of dreams find me bardancholy

______________

daark  (for my fence lady friend in oregon that must be older then dirt by now...)

Oh, gosh, what a tale, dear D.!

What is "bardancholy" ... google didn't find any such thing in 0,02 seconds... It must be a creation of yours.

I am impressed and very sorry for the black bishop ... they are so beautiful. But jack dan made you dizzy I guess.

You have some memories! "older than dirt" might still breathe and appreciate your glimpse into the past.

Love,
Margherita

ms mar..thanks lady friend..bard is to do with poetic, so the "creation" would meander in that direction..the black bishop thingy is just changing the tv channel from some loudholyrollerblabberbama type over to something more useful..ms older than dirt...yeah she would still throw a mean squirm I imagine..

... and creation/creativity did meander in that direction, given the results you share with us!

Thank you for the information. I am soothed regarding the black bishop!

Oh this was awesome!  The entire thing.  Old dirt is the best dirt by the way.

When I did the news and weather on KCND-TV back in 1965, we dared not show any cleavage or we got a censorship notice.     Boy have times changed.

D,

You word play like no one I know - and the combinations work so well in your poetry.  This was so much fun to read.
